• -Եբր. [hebrew word] darōm «հարաւ» բառն է. հմմտ. Եզեկ. ի. 46 «Հաստատեա՛ զերեսս քղ ի Թեման և հայեաց ի Դագովն (եբր. ի դա-րու «հառաւ»)։ Բառս յոյն թարգմանութեան մէջ տառադարձուած է Ἀαρωμας և իբր յատուկ աւնուն առնուելով՝ հասկացւում է «հարաւա-յին Պաղեստին»։ Նարեկացին դիմել է բուն աղբիւրին և գործածում է բառը բուն «հարաւ» նշանակութեամբ, ինչպէս ունինք թեման «հարաւ»՝ փոխառեալ նոյնպէս եբրայեցերէ-նից։
• ՆՀԲ և ԱԲ չունին այս բառը՝ անշուշտ յատուկ անուն համարելով, ինչպէս կար-ծում է նաև Նարեկացու հրատարակիչը, որ յիշեալ բառը գլխատառով է գրում։ ՋԲ իբր անստոյգ բառ նշանակում և մեևնում է «եղր, ծայր կամ ներքին սահ-ման»։ Սրանից է առնում ՓԲ և համե-մատում պրս. դարիւմ (իմա՛ արար [arabic word] lāruu) «թաթարական վրան թա-ղիքէ»։ Lag. Armi. Stud. § 596 կարծում է Ս. Գրքի [hebrew word] darōm (յն. տառա-դարձութեամբ ἀαρωμας) «հարաւ» բա-
