• Բաշահատ «քուռակ, ձիու ձագ». գործա-ձուած է միայն երկու անգամ հայ գրակա-նութեան մէջ. «Եւ չէզոքն, որպիսի՝ քուռակ, ռաշահատ, մատաղաձի» Մագ. քեր. 241= Երզն. քեր. «Խորհուրդ ի մէջ առեալ յան-սանձս եդին բաշահատ ջորոջ. զի թէ ուղղա-կին երթիցէ պողոտայ, նոյն բարի եղիցի» Յաւսմ. նոյ" 18։
• =Բարդուած է բաշ+հատ(անել) բառե-րից։ Հայոց սովորութիւնն է քուռակի բաշե-րը խուզել մինչև 3 տարեկանը, որից յետոյ, դառնում է ձի և այլ ևս բաշերը թողնում են։ Այս սովորութիւնը ստուգեցի Երևանի կա-ռապաններից ու ձիապաններից։ Այսպէս է եղել նաև գիւղերում։

• = Պէտք է ուղղել բալկուլ, իբր «բալ կուլ տուող», ինչպէս ունինք ձկնկուլ և ճանճակուլ թռչունները։ Բալկուլ ձևը կենդանի է Լոռիի գաւառականում (Ազգ. հանդ. ժ. 190). ըստ Ռուբէն Քալանթարեանի (անձնական) դա մի փոքրիկ թռչուն է, որ լինում է միշտ անտա-ռում՝ բալենի կոչուած վայրի ծառի վրայ։ Սխալը յառաջացել է լ և շ տառերի նմանու-թիւնից։-Աճ.
