• . գրուած նաև թոխ և բոխ. առնուած է ասորական Աստուածաշնչի Ծն. ա. 2 համարից, որ մեր թարգմանութեան մէջ թարգմանուած է «աներեւոյթ և անպատ-րաստ»։ Եփր. ծն. էջ 2-3 մեկնելու համար այս դարձուածը՝ գրում է. «Երկիր, ասէ, էր թոհ և բոհ. յայտ արար՝ թէ անպատրաստ էր ցայնժամ և ամայի... երկիր, ասէ, թոհ և բոհ. յոյնն ասէ, աներևոյթ և անպատրաստ... այլ հեբրայեցին փոխանակ այնր՝ զի (ասորին) ասէ թոխ և բոխ, խոր և խաւար ասէ»։ Սրա-նից առնելով Վրդն. ծն. մեկնում է. «Ոմանք ի խաւարէ և յանդնդոց ասեն եղեալ զաշ-խարհս, զոր թոհ և բոհ ասացին, որ է խոր և խաւար»։ Այս երկուսից դուրս բառս գործա-ծուած է մի քանի անկախ տեղեր էլ. այսպէս Առծռ. ա. 10 «ամայի, անմարդաբնակ» նշա-նակութեամբ (Ի խոխոմս ձորոյն ի թոխ և ի բոխ երկրին՝ անբնակ մարդկան). որից կազ-մուած է բոխասեր կամ բոխասէր «դժուար-անցանելի» Նանայ. յռջ։-Հին բռ. մեկնում և քմահաճօրէն «թոհ և բոհ. անկազմ, աներև ւոյթ կամ անպիտան. բոհ, թոհ, բորբ, խա-ւար. բոխ՝ աւերակ»։-Նոր գրականում (արև-մըտեան բարբառ) թոհ և բոհ, մանաւանդ թոհուբոհ գործածւում է «քաօսային վիճակ, կատարեալ խառնաշփոթութիւն» նշանակու-թեամբ։
