• = Բնիկ հայ բառ՝ հնխ. bhel-, bhol-ար-մատից, -որ մասնիկով։ Այս արմատի հիմ-նական նշանակութիւնն է «ուռչիլ», որից յա-ռաջացել են մի կողմից «բարձրանալ, միւս կողմից «գնդաձև (ուռուցիկ) կերպարանք առնել» նշանակութիւնները և յետոյ էլ «մեծ, խոշոր, հաստ» իմաստը (տե՛ս Boisacq 1020)։ Հայերէնի մէջ «բարձրանալ» գաղա-փարից ունինք բլուր, որ կազմուած է հնխ. bλōl-ձևից՝ -ուր մասնիկով. իսկ «գնդաձև» գաղափարի համար ունինք գւռ. բուլ «խմո-հից կտրուած մէկ գունտ, որ մի հաց կդառ-նայ» (>Ազլ. բիւլ, Ջղ. բ'ուլ, Գնձ. Ղրբ. Շմ. պիւլ)։ Այնուհետև «կլոր (գնդաձև») գաղա-փարը դարձել է «կլոր (բոլորակաձև)»։ (Այս երկու գաղափարները շատ յաճախ են շփոթ-ւում ւեզուների մէջ. աշխարհաբարի մէջ կլոր թէ՛ «բոլորակ» է և թէ՛ «գնդաձև». այսպէս է նոյն իսկ ֆրանս. rond. տե՛ս և գինդ բառի տակ)։ Այս իմաստով է կազմուած բոլ-որ. Մասնիկների յաւելման մէջ կայ ձայնավոր-ների նմանութիւն. bhol->բոլ-որ և bhōl >*բուլ-որ>բլուր։ Վերջապէս «մեծ, խոշոր. հաստ» գաղափարի դէմ ունինք հյ. բոլոր «ամբողջ»։ Յեղակից ձևերից, որոնք շատ բազմաթիվ են (տե՛ս Pokorny 2, 177-4 Boisacq 1020, Ernout-Meillet 359), յիշենք 1) «ուռչիլ» իմաստից՝ հիռլ. bolach «ու-ռուցք», լտ. follis «ուռցրած պարկ, խառա-լու փամփուշտ», ռուս. болонa «ծառի վրայ աւռուցք» ևն. 2) «բարձրանալ» իմաստև ա-ծանցները տե՛ս վերը բլուր. 3) «գնդաձև» իմաստից՝ հբգ. ballo (*bhol-n) «գնդաև». bolōn «ոլորել, գալարել, պլորել» մբզ. boln նոյն նշ., bolle «գնդաձև աման», հիսլ. bollr «գնդակ», և վերջապէս 4) «մեծ՝ խո-շոր» իմաստից՝ շվեդ. bol «հաստ ու խոշոր, տժեղ», bál-stor «շատ մեծ (իբր բոլորովին ստուար)», հիսլ. blā «չափազանց, շատ»։ Հնխ. bhel-«ուոչիլ» իր համազօրն ունի bul-«ուռչիլ» արմատի մէջ. ուշադրութեան արժանի է յատկապէս հիսլ. bollr «ամոր-ձիք»=հյ. գւռ. պլոր նոյն նշ.։
